BAMM Tutors
Your BAMM Tutor has an in-depth knowledge of the world of medical management. He or she will have many years of experience as a medical manager, either in primary or secondary care. They will empathise with and understand the issues you face and will work with you, jointly with your BAMM Coach, to devise a programme that best suits your needs. Your BAMM Tutor will meet with you again after a set period - usually 4-6 months from your start date, and on completion of your programme, to assess your progress, to help you reflect and critique your progress and to set goals for the next stage of your development.
Alongside your scheduled meetings with your BAMM Coach and BAMM Tutor, each of these individuals is accessible to you by email or telephone.
BAMM Coaches BAMM Coaches are fully experienced in both assessing and developing personal effectiveness and leadership skills, on a one-to-one basis. Each of BAMM’s coaches has a coaching qualification and in addition has been through BAMM’s coach training programme. Our coaches have a wide range of skills and experience and you will be matched with the coach most appropriate for your needs on Fit to Lead. Our coaches come from a wide range of backgrounds, some have knowledge and experience in the NHS, some have clinical backgrounds, whilst others have experience of other public sector organisations or of the corporate world. BAMM has a rigorous process of quality assurance in place, with coaching faculty regularly attending standards meetings and individual coaching sessions systematically monitored, to ensure quality and consistency.
Fit to Lead Clinics
Fit to Lead Clinics are scheduled throughout the year at various locations. Fit to Lead members can book an appointment at the clinic where they can acces their Tutor or Coach on a one to one basis. For details of forthcoming clinics, see below ...
Fit to Lead Clinics 2008 - Please note, many dates have been removed as they are fully booked, we have also added some additional dates. We highly recommend that you schedule all three of your available clinics as soon as possible and as far in advance as your diary allows. They fill up very quickly (especially in London) and booking early avoids disappointment.
Once we have received confirmation that you are able to attend your allocated tutor session, our standard cancellation policy will apply. For each session, BAMM are contracted to pay tutor fees and should cancellation occur within 14 days prior to your appointment, you may be liable for these charges. For further information please contact the BAMM office.
